This insect repellent repels and kills the mosquitoes, ticks and chiggers that can take the fun out of an outdoor adventure. One treatment lasts for 2 weeks, so you can protect your clothing and gear for your next outing and be ready to go at any time. This unscented spray helps create a mosquito barrier for your gear and clothing so you can focus on all the outdoor activities you enjoy. Apply to gear including nets, tents, sleeping bags and backpacks. This product contains an active ingredient that actually binds to the fabric being treated. It provides residual protection for a minimum of two weeks and will hold up through several machine washings. Don't re-treat clothing more than once every two weeks — wash at least once before re-treating. See product label for complete treatment directions.

Peremethrin soak

Peremethrin is the only option for treating your outdoor clothing, gear and dog items, etc.. It is not safe for direct contact with cats. To be economical when treating all of our outdoor gear, we buy a peremethrin concentrate in the livestock section and then soak our clothing and anything else able to be soaked and dried. It does not wear away any gear. I use this in combination with picardian on the skin, I haven't had a tick on me since 2017. Lyme was no fun y'all. Soak the clothing in a peremethrin soak, adjusted for the level of intensity. Treat every so often depending on how much you wear/wash the item. It will not degrade any fabrics or materials. This is how "outdoor" companies do it that sell you clothing with "insectishield". Plenty of directions online and this way is cheaper and actually effective at its intended purpose. Hope this helps someone!

It keeps ticks away. You don’t need to spray your skin. Spray clothing and it works for up to two weeks and it can go through the wash and still work.

Best Tick Repellent

Ticks are really bad where we live on a ranch in Arkansas. This is without any doubt the best repellent for keeping them off of you. Spray boots and lower pants and you will rarely get any ticks on you. Works far better than the stuff containing Deet.

Ticks be gone

Ticks absolutely love me. I live in a rural area on a dirt road. If I go in the woods even in the winter I will get at least 1 -- UNLESS I spray my shoes and boots with Repel Permethrin . I sprayed some on my finger and touched a tick that was attached to me hoping it would make him turn loose. It killed him but he didn't let go. I touched the back of one I took off my shirt and put in the sink. It took a minute but it killed him. I don't pick up ticks or chiggers when I apply this product to my clothes. Do Not spray this product where it will get on a cat. It is toxic to cats.
