What size piece of wood would recommend to go with this I’m also thinking pressure treated.

Asked by: Doug W
We recommend you choose two new, clean (free of knots) planks of Douglas Fir. For this model use 2 x 8s (1-1/2" x 7-1/2"). For additional strength use oak planks.

why don't ramp tops fit against end of 2x8; there's a gap. Is this some kind of engineering design or just a miscalculation when moulding the part

Asked by: victorm
According to my technicians, there should be a small gap between the wood and the ramp top.
