Q: Third prong at bottom of plug is too large to be inserted into plug. This prong keeps me from being able to plug. in the warmer. Can it be removed?

- A: : The third plastic prong is made to ensure compatibility with the standard three-prong outlets commonly found in the U.S. Only the other two prongs are conductive and carry electricity. You can remove the third prong by following steps: Unscrew the central screw on the face of the plug. You will be able to access the inner screw of the third prong. This screw is what secures the plastic prong in place. Unscrew and remove the inner screw. Then the third prong can be detached from the plug. Screw the central screw back into place to ensure every part is secured tightly. After reassembling, test the plug/product to ensure it works properlya year agoHelpful?
