Put the silicon mat over the edge of my sink, so where the seam of the sink and the counter meets is protected from water. I put my dirty dishes on it also, and my counter does not get stained. Also, the silicone calk between my counter and sink is always needing to be changed. this mat prevents water from getting in the seam between the counter and the sink.

So I loved using this. Then one day I left it in the oven during a self-clean. The Mat is not designed to be left in during a nearly 900 degree cleaning session and it left a white "film" around the entire oven. I contacted the support via email asking if they had any suggestions on how to clean the film and they sent a scrapper!
Even though the mat was not designed for this, and the company had no obligation on doing anything, I was very happy to receive such good support.
