The Ranch Tough Universal Fit Flat Free Cart/Hand Truck Tire Assembly is the perfect utility cart and hand truck tire replacement. No need to change out an old tube or visit a professional tire shop, simply replace the entire old or damaged tire and wheel assembly with these flat free hand truck tires. This easy to install replacement comes with flat free polyurethane cart tires with sawtooth tread pre-mounted on a black powder-coated steel wheel with a 2.25 in. offset hub length, 5/8 in. ball bearings installed and an axle cap.
- Included adapter kit includes 2 x 3/4 in. ball bearings, 2 x 1/2 in. spacers and 3 x 1/4 in. spacers to accommodate alternate hub lengths and bearing sizes
- Hand truck tire replacement for tire sizes: 4.10/3.50-4; 3.00-4; 3.50-4

Q: How do I replace the 5/8" bearings with the 3/4" bearings?

- A: I used a 1/4 " socket extension and a hammer to tap them out by placing the extension through the opposite of the wheel. A wood Dowlrod would work also. To install the size you want, use a socket the same diameter as the bearing race lip and tap in with the hammer until the lip is seated flush with the wheel. Note that the wheel needs to be placed on something to elevate the spindle off the surface you are working on so the bearing being removed can be knocked out..5 years agoHelpful?
Q: Will this wheel work on a 1/2 inch axel?

- A: The current bearing size inserted are 5/8” and they have 3/4" bearings attached with the adapter kit. However, the manufacturer offers 1/2" replacement bearings for persons needing the smaller size. If you purchased these, please contact the manufacturer, Marastar, directly.7 years agoHelpful?

Very good product for replacement of pressure washer wheels. Had a difficult time finding anything for 5/8" shafts. This had the bearings for either type (1/2" in the wheels. It took a little work to remove the bearings and put in the 5/8" bearings, but was fairly easy with a screwdriver and rubber hammer. Nice rubber and never will be flat! Great not to have to order them on line!

bearing fell apart

This is not the least expensive tire at Tractor supply. I had this tire for less than 1.75 years and the bearing fell apart. While the warranty is for 1 year against manufacturer defects, I would still expect the bearing to last for more than 2 years. The tire itself shows little wear. The cart it was on carried no more than 50 lbs (well below the tire's rating). I cannot find any contact information for Ranch Tough (the web site has not contact info) and tractor supply said there is nothing they can do since it is out of warranty. I would NOT buy this tire.
