Upset stomach

A healthy & great tasting food!

My perfect black cat had gastrointestinal issues when he was a young (10 months). Vomiting, was gassy, bloated and had brown and yellow stools. We did blood work and found it was gastroenteritis and he had a sensitive stomach. The veterinarian mentioned to try EN. He was neutered at a young age as well so I wanted to make sure he had some protection regarding urinary issues. This was the golden ticket! He LOVES his kibble. I love the fact that the ingredients are good, and the added vitamins keeps his overall health in check. He's not bloated, not gassy, no more vomiting, no fatty stools and most importantly, 3 years later, he still goes crazy for the taste of his kibble. Thanks Purina, for keeping my kitty's health and happiness great!

Helped IBD immensely!

I was skeptical as we had tried two other foods: canned and dry and nothing worked. Once vet diagnosed IBS in my cat, she prescribed the Gastroenteric dry food and a probiotic. This cat food is very expensive! Yet, within a few days, my cat has adapted and loves this food; and the best part is for the first time in over a month, she is having soft, FORMED stools! What a relief after having numerous gunky, pudding or diarrhea stools as many as 7 or more a day! I highly recommend this food for a cat with IBD. I will say the only caveat is that my cat's pee and stools smell awful and worse than before--it must be the food~but this is minor as the cat's stools are 100% better. Thank you for this food~

Quality Control Concern

Quality Control concern: I would normally give this a 4 or 5, because my cat loves it and it resolved her gastrointestinal issues overnight. She’s been on it for years. Recently however, I’ve returned a couple of bags because a good portion of the morsels appear burnt and they are much smaller in size than normal. My cat doesn’t like the flavour and I don’t like feeding the “bad bags” to her. What’s the issue Purina? Never had this happen before, so what’s changed in your factory?
