- A: The Purina Game Fish Chow® should not hurt the trout, but it is not the feed to support growth and vigor. I would suggest one of the AquaMax® Sport Fish diets that have greater protein, fat, energy and nutrient concentrations, and fish meal is the 1st ingredient to support efficient growth. The Purina® AquaMax® Sport Fish MVP has 9 particles similar to the Game Fish Chow®. The largest 6 sizes float and the smallest 3 sizes have 50% float. If you want a uniform size, then the Purina® AquaMax® Sport fish 500 (3/16”) or 600 (9/32”) would be an option. If you have trout that are greater than 16 inches, the AquaMax® Sport Fish Largemouth (3/4” x 1”) might be an option.13 days agoHelpful?
