- A: Hello Yes, you can place our EVA foam interlocking puzzle mats over carpet. Many customers use them to create cushioned play areas, workout spaces, or to protect their carpet in high-traffic areas. If your carpet is low-pile (flatter), the mats should stay in place fairly well. On plush or thick carpet, you might notice a bit of movement or that the tiles don’t lock together as tightly. In those cases, we recommend using a non-slip underlay or rug grippers to help keep them secure. Also, keep in mind that heavy furniture or equipment could leave slight impressions on softer carpet underneath. Great mats

Fantastic mats particularly in a larger space. The mats are very supportive yet surprisingly firm with the rubber tops. Great for 90% of workout applications. If you plan on setting a lot of heavy equipment on them they may not hold up as a full rubber mat, but that is to be expected and you should plan accordingly with the type of flooring you'd need for that application. Highly recommend for just about anything else.

Not able to sustain heavy items.

Easy to assemble. the problem is they really don't hold weight as advertised. I needed something like the stall mats. These are already having permanent indentations unfortunately. (which is a tripping hazard) I wish I bought another product.
