Producer's Pride Guardian Chicken Coop, 14 Chicken Capacity

I am very disappointed in this coop especially after reading the previous reviews. Let me start with the size is nice I can get inside it (not comfortably) but enough to clean or reach something if I need it. Unfortunately There is a gap under the main coop area that will be a Haven for critters and snakes. Then there are gaps and poor quality latches and locks. The roost bar runs across the top over the nesting boxes which is NOT good because then they will be pooping in the nest boxes. I will have to figure out a top for those nest boxes to protect it. I added photos to show the massive gaps around the door that I will have to figure out how to fix. The cost does not reflect the quality. I will.have to do a lot of fixes to this coop for the cost I expected better.

We are loving the size and quality of this coop! We caught it on sale and it was a good deal! Definitely underestimated the size of the box but we got it figured out. For reference, we took our Honda Ridgeline to pick it up and the truck bed was full. Very simple instruction and easy to put together with a helper.

Everything else we have bought for this seems great except the roofing materials. We live in a place that does not get to hot like it was an 80' degree day and the roofing panels started warping in the sun. Because some of the panels had warped it made it hard to assemble the roofing correctly. and the screws used for the very top roofing panels are not strong and kept popping up. the coop is well built and great but you could definitely get better roofing panels and screws.

It was fairly straight forward setup, we just didn’t get the handle on the sliding door. The chickens enjoy the extra room.
