They look like real eggs and feel like it to the chickens cant tell. LOL I had to wright FAKE on them because my husband cant tell the difference and like he said chickens cant read. :-)

Not worth the purchase

Kind of a silly purchase. Hasn't worked yet unfortunately. Was worth the look on my husband's face when he checked for eggs and excitedly announced there were eggs.

These look TOO MUCH like my blue eggs!

These are nice and heavy, and feel authentic - like eggs - to the point that our house sitter brought one in and tried to crack it in a pan! Unfortunately, we no longer have either of them; if you have snakes, glue them together so it's more difficult for a snake to eat. Our birds did not peck these, and they helped with nesting and encouraging our younger birds to lay. These are definitely something to get if you have brown- or white-egg laying birds, but I'd be more cautious if you have blue/green layers, just for confusion - these blend in and aren't very visible compared to laid eggs.
