Prime-Line part F 2936 contains a pair of spring-loaded Tilt Latches and easy-to-follow installation instructions. These tilt latches install on single- and double-hung vertical sliding, tilt-in vinyl sash panels. Vertical sliding windows with tilt-in sash allow for easier cleaning of hard-to-reach exterior glass surfaces. Each latch is constructed of durable 0.248 plastic and they are equipped with corrosion-resistant, long-lasting steel springs. These latches keep each vertical sliding panel locked into their respective paths of travel. Simultaneous disengaged latches allow the sash to tilt inward for thorough cleaning, or tilted in then rotated clockwise or counter-clockwise for easy removal of the sash from window frame.
