These window screen tension springs are constructed of heat treated spring steel and come in a zinc plated finish. Tension springs of this style mount onto the sides of aluminum screen frames and provide holding tension when inserted into sliding window screen channels. These tension springs will fit into 5/16 in. or thicker screen frame material. Requires two 3/16 in. holes drilled into the screen's edge for installation.
