Replace broken, old, or unsightly door locks with the Defender Security S 4003 Sliding Door Patio Lock. This twist-in lock is constructed of a Zamak cast housing, an aluminum bolt, and it comes in a black painted finish. This secondary lock provides increased security when ventilating or securing your sliding patio door, as it prevents sliding and lifting of active panel. This lock is also compatible with some horizontal sliding windows. It features a 1/2 inch reach with an overall height of 11/16 inch and 1-9/16 inch mounting hole centers. The lock mounts onto the lower back-edge of the sliding panel, and the bolt locks into a 1/4 inch hole that must be carefully drilled into the fixed panel's bottom rail. For further dimensional information, please see the line drawing.

  • SLIDING DOOR LOCK REPLACEMENT Replace broken, old, or unsightly door sliding door locks; when engaged, this patio door lock prevents sliding, lifting of active panel and mounts onto the lower back-edge of the sliding panel
  • ADDED SECURITY This secondary sliding patio door lock provides increased security use on patio sliding door systems and some horizontal sliding windows when ventilating or securing your patio sliding doors
  • STRONG AND DURABLE Constructed of Zamak cast housing with an aluminum bolt, the patio sliding door lock replacement is finished in painted white
  • DIMENSIONS - The replacement sliding door lock features a 1/2 inch reach with an overall height of 11/16 inch and 1-9/16 inch mounting hole centers; please review line drawing
  • NOTE Requires 5/16 inch bolt hole to drill into frame - CAUTION Do not drill into glass

    Just what I needed

    Was able to find this lock that was broken for my sliding glass door. Worked like a charm. Had to wait a few days for shipping but price was worth it.

    No, I do not recommend this product.
