These spiral balance pivot bars are constructed of stamped steel and come unfinished in a quantity of 2 per pack, with screws. Double hung and single hung vertically-sliding and tilting windows that operate with 5/8 in. spiral balances require these types of pivot bars to operate efficiently. These pivot bars feature a scribed line on one end that marks the correct insertion depth at a backset of 3/8 in., and an installed fastener at a 1 in. backset on the opposite end. These spiral balance pivot bars are simple to install and are used by a variety of window manufacturers.
