This Chain Door Lock is constructed of steel components and comes in a beautiful, corrosion-resistant, satin nickel-plated finish. Typically these are used on inswing doors that you may want extra security on. With this door guard properly installed you can safely and securely either vent the room or open your door slightly. All the necessary mounting hardware is included for a quick and easy installation. Additionally this can be used as a child safety lock if mounted high enough for your child to not be able to reach.
