This bi-fold door repair bracket is constructed from steel. It is designed to repair doors that have split at the top or bottom pivot. This style bracket fits 1-3/8 inch thick doors and accepts a 7/16 inch pivot. Used by a variety of manufacturers of solid wood closet doors.

    Eventually it worked!

    It was too tight to get on without damaging the door and too strong to pry open. I finally got it right by hammering it apart a bit.
