Is your screen door rattling in the track? This top mounted heat treated high tension steel spring is used on Andersen sliding screen doors. It provides tension on the top of the sliding screen door as it slides back and forth. It not only provides the tension needed for the screen door to operate properly, but acts as a guide in the upper track. Both ends are snapped into retaining slots.
