This non-tilt spiral balance is constructed of a mill-finished metal tube measuring 3/8 in. in diameter. The FM series spiral balance features 2 available rod extensions; one measures 5/8 in. and the other 1-5/8 in. The red-colored nylon bushings of these spiral tilt balances indicate their spring weight is for sash of medium weight. These spiral balances are used on non-tilting vinyl single hung windows.
