Help prevent forced entry by reinforcing the weak spot of your door with the Defender Security U 9592 Stainless Steel Lock and Door Reinforcer. Use this lock plate to reinforce and repair both metal, fiberglass, and wood doors. Made of solid stainless steel, the reinforcement lock comes finished in stainless steel to fit over a single bore hole on your door. All the necessary mounting hardware is included with the metal reinforcement plate for a complete installation. It is pre-punched for mounting. Remove the protective film after installation. The reinforced door lock is designed for 1-3/4 inch thick doors that have a 2-1/8 inch bore hole with a 2-3/4 inch backset. The lock reinforcement is 4-5/16 inch wide by 4-1/2 inch tall with a 0.03 inch thickness. Make sure to dry fit the metal reinforced door lock reinforcer before permanently installing.
