Not for macaws

This cage is NOT for macaws. My macaw easily bends the bars.

I needed a “day cage”. One where she was able to hang out in and out of it as she pleases as I work from home or be put in when I have to run out . Her night cage is upstairs in her own room. This cage is not as thick (diameter wise) as her AE cage but it’s nice. Lots of room for her and various toys and perches. She loved it immediately. Nothing was dented and I was able to assemble myself. It’s a nice looking cage and despite her trying to chew the bars at times, it’s held up and hasn’t chipped. We both love it. I’d recommend it.

Large cage but received bent and latch is about broken. Email company direct and no response !! Once set up need to disassemble to return in 2 separate boxes !

I LOVE this cage! I have two macaws and this is plenty of room for them. Picking it up at the local Tractor Supply Store was super easy. Although the directions say you need a friend to help you, I am high resourceful and determined and with a handful of zip ties and a board was able to pull it off in about two hours. I love that the cage wipes down really easily and the seed catcher really helps cut down on the mess. I even salvaged the cardboard and bubble wrap to use to line the tray. The price was great, though shipping was pricey. Be sure you have a large space for this cage because it is very large, so large that if I ever move I’ll have to disassemble it.
