Rat Pee Corrodes Me

My rats have been in this cage for about a year now and I will have to replace it. Their pee mixed with the metal causes it to flake off and it’s slowly eroding. I dont feel very safe keeping them in this cage because I’m worried they’ll ingest the particles.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Everything but the door!

It’s nice and big. I think everything is good except the door. I’m sure a rat could squeeze through the space around the door especially if it pushed on the door. It looks good but it’s not secure. We would like the door to be at the top, on the ceiling.
