What is the product usage per ounce of water? Thanks.

Asked by: Jack73
The mixing instructions for PetLac powder are volume based rather than weight( tsp, tbsp, or cup rather than oz). This product should be mixed at 1 part powder to 2 parts water. For example, if 1 tablespoon of powder is used, 2 tablespoons of water is needed to properly reconstitute. The amount needed is based off the body weight of the animal being fed (1 teaspoon of formula per 4 oz of body weight is indicated).

I have an older dog that sometimes goes off her food, would this work as a good replacement until she decides to eat? (I can get her to eat baked fish when she does go off her regular food but I know that is not healthy for her. I am just happy she eats)

We would advise you to consult with your veterinarian.
