- A: Hello, our Pennington Lawn Booster products are intended for overseeding existing lawn, so they do contain fertilizer. Birds, both domestic and wild, typically stay away from fertilizer as it is not consumable. We recommend that animals stay off the area until after the product has been watered in and thoroughly dried. If you are looking for a grass seed that does not contain fertilizer, we would recommend a product like our Pennington Kentucky 31 Tall Fescue or Contractor’s Mix. i would not buy pennington seed everagain
a year ago
twenty days ago i planted this green seed one quarter inch below aerated bare spots. watered twice per day morniong and night but never too much water, enough to start germination. have not seen one blade of grass and believe me i used sufficient seed. what a waste of money
