Compatible with only wood pellet-burning stoves, this heavy-duty wall thimble is durably made of stainless-steel with double-wall air-insulated design. - A: Not sure what you are asking, as pellet vent only comes in 3" and 4" depending on the elevation of installation. Please refer to the appliance manufacturer installation instructions for proper venting procedures and practices.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Please indicate what the maximum wall thickness can be in order to use this wall thimble. Is it long enough to go through 12" block wall plus 1/2" thick drywall?

- A: As is, it is designed for a maximum of 8 inch wall, but it can be expanded to be used on any thickness with the addition of same gauge galvanized metal. Please refer to the PVL installation instructions available at www.duravent.com2 years agoHelpful?

Through wall assembly

This is a solid built assembly . Be aware however that the actual open hole diameter is 4” not 3”. Also be aware that additional components will be needed for the actual exhaust pipe.

Does the job its intended. I do wish there was some sort of coating on the galvanized side. Something paint would stick to well to match your home. Other then that, easy to install no complaints.
