The DuraVent PelletVent 3 in. Wall Thimble is used as a pass through for PelletVent pipe through a wall and is adjustable to match various wall thicknesses. Compatible with only wood pellet-burning stoves, this heavy-duty wall thimble is durably made of stainless-steel with double-wall air-insulated design. The wall thimble features factory sealed seams for long-lasting durability, reliability and exceptional performance.

This is a solid built assembly . Be aware however that the actual open hole diameter is 4” not 3”. Also be aware that additional components will be needed for the actual exhaust pipe.

Does the job its intended. I do wish there was some sort of coating on the galvanized side. Something paint would stick to well to match your home. Other then that, easy to install no complaints.
