Great for my dogs

We have choc lab and beagle. We found that our lab ate so fast, that she was choking on it. The vet recommended changing her to small pieces of food. So for the last 6-7 years, both dogs are on Pedigree Small Bites. Our vet says both dogs are healthy and doing well on this food, do not change. I love the 52# bag, yes it is heavy, but cheaper because of the size. I then use the bag for recycling.

This is (in my opinion) one of the worst foods that you could feed your dog. This company uses the fact that they donate to shelters as a big marketing tool to sell Pedigree. YUK -- look at the first ingredients in their Adult Complete Nutrition formula: GROUND WHOLE CORN, MEAT AND BONE MEAL, CORN GLUTEN MEAL, ANIMAL FAT (PRESERVED WITH BHA/CITRIC ACID), SOYBEAN MEAL Your dog is getting a lot of corn (dogs ARE carnivores), meat and bone meal (no idea what type of meat source - could be from the 4 D's including any type of animal that is dead, diseased, dying or disabled). More corn and corn gluten is the worst! More mystery products. Animal fat (what type of animal - could be road kill no joke and it's preserved with BHA which is known to cause cancer), then of course soy. Soy is believed to related to bloating in dogs. Please, know what you are buying. Educate yourself for your dog's sake!

The pedigree 44lb dog food is no longer available in store. It shouldn't be available on the website for pick up and purchase if it's not available. I was charged and now am waiting for refund of my purchase. It's something simple that should be fixed.

Picky eater loves it!

Overall, my 14 lb papillon schnauzer gave rave reviews. She is a picky eater when it comes to dry food (always sneaking into the cat bowls), however she took a liking to it immediately! Would recommend.
