Kill and prevent weeds and grasses with Ortho GroundClear Year Long Vegetation Killer2. This weed control product kills weeds, grasses and existing vegetation, and prevents regrowth for up to 1 year. The fast-acting formula starts working immediately and is rainproof in 1 hour. Use this weed and grass killer where no plant growth is wanted for at least a year on driveways, sidewalks, fence lines, paver patios, walkways, gravel areas, parking areas and other hardscapes. This product is a concentrate and must be diluted with water before applying. To use, add 24 fl. oz. of Ortho GroundClear Year Long Vegetation Killer2 per 1 gallon of water in a tank sprayer to treat up to 300 sq. ft. Apply to bare ground or when weeds are actively growing and temperatures are above 60°F. Do not use before planting lawns, fruits, vegetables or other plants because the product remains active in the soil for up to one year. Do not enter or allow others to enter treated areas until sprays have dried. 2 gal. of Ortho GroundClear Year Long Vegetation Killer2 makes approximately 10.67 gallons of prepared solution.

To get the best results when making an application of Ortho GroundClear Year Long Vegetation Killer2 Concentrate, we suggest ensuring the weeds are actively growing, which is typically when the temperatures are consistently above 60 degrees. Also, if the weeds are/were taller than 6 inches, we suggest mowing or cutting them down and removing any debris prior to treatment. This is because taller weeds are more difficult to kill and will prevent the product from reaching the soil to provide the year-long weed prevention. The weeds and ground should be wet after application, which allows the product to soak into the ground. It can also take up to 2 weeks for a complete control of the weeds.

A complete control may take up to 2 weeks. For best results, temperatures should be consistently above 60 degrees. Night time temperatures below 40 will slow results. Fluctuating day time temperatures, where temperatures are frequently dropping below 60 degrees, will slow results. If weeds are taller than 6 inches, mow or cut down weeds and remove debris before treatment. The weeds and ground should be wet after application. Allow product to soak into the ground. During drought weeds will slow their growth down.
