Not for a Makita, at least not mine.

I'm sure this is a good chain, but it does not work well a Makita bar, at least the one I have, which calls for a .043 thickness of drive link, not a .050 thickness. It does FIT, but the chain does not slide easily through the bar slot, and the saw struggles to get it to speed. And wears down the batteries wicked fast.
