This Oregon 18" guide bar and chain combination features a S62 3/8" low profile chain that is ideal for homeowners and occasional users who want a low-vibration, low-kickback saw chain. The Chamfer Chisel cutters offer outstanding performance and are durable, easy to maintain and forgiving. Fits Echo, Craftsman, Poulan, Homelite, Makita, Ryobi, Husqvarna and others equipped with a 18" bar with 3/8" low profile, .050" gauge saw chain with 62 drive links.

Q: Will a 18" bar go on my Husqvarna 435 chainsaw

- A: Hello, Doug. Thank you for your interest in the Oregon(R) brand. The Husqvarna 435 can use an 18" bar and chain; however, it has to be the correct bar ad chain for the saw. Since the 435 comes from Husqvarna with a .325" pitch cutting system installed, we have to make sure that the 18" bar and chain combo that is being put on it is also .325" pitch. The bar and chain combo that you are inquiring about is 3/8" low profile pitch and has the incorrect bar. The correct 18" bar and chain combo is part number 579809.
