will this fit an MS290

Asked by: fort1
This chain will fit a Stihl MS290 with a 20” bar, as long as no one has altered the saw from new. A MS290 can have the sprocket changed to a 3/8 pitch from the standard .325

Will this fit MS310

Asked by: Puddentain
The Stihl Chain Saw MS310 could have either a 3/8 pitch bar and chain or a .325 pitch bar and chain.7 If the saw does have a .325 bar and sprocket, then the L81 would work If the saw uses a 3/8 pitch chain, the that would need a different chain. .
