These are a Christmas gift, so I can't really rate the sizing. They do look very good quality and I hope they last. They are very pretty in person! I wouldn't say these are unisex, they most definitely are girl boots. The teal is shimmery. They are pretty and my daughter will love them.

What you can’t tell from the picture is that the shaft is a very shimmery blue, think mermaid tail. The stitching is not red, but magenta. I would not classify these as a unisex boot. They would be cute for a girl, but my son thought they looked like girls boots so we returned. Ended up going with another pair of Old West boots that are same style, but different colors. Seem well made and my son loves them.
