Old West has previously made great quality Children's boots. However the quality inspection for the insert soles is no longer a priority. I purchased multiple pairs of Old West from different stores and each pair had the same issue - the insert sole is cut short, leaving the arch of the foot to the toe with NO cushion/ no insert. So if your child is complaining that their boots hurt I highly advise you to check the insert. I called the Old West manufacturer and they stated that I must have a fluke pair. I reminded them I had 2 different boots from 2 different suppliers with the same issue. They stated they could only make changes if the suppliers I purchased from returned their stock with similar complaints. I went to a 3rd supplier of their boots and asked the store associate to check the inset before I purchased a 3rd pair…. Same issue with the insert 1/2 gone. We went through multiple boxes of NEW boots before we found one with a complete insert from heel to toe. The Old West quality is no longer what it used to be.

Wrong size but so cute I couldn’t return

Accidentally ordered in the wrong size. Waaaay too small for me. But they were so cute I just had to keep them. Turned out fine because I just gave them to a friend. Will definitely be purchasing again.
