Still great quality, but size is off

I have bought 3 pair of these slippers over the years. I bought a different brand, similar style when the price went up $20. I was sorry. So they wore out and its time for another pair so I ordered myfavorite Old Friends slippers. I ordered a 9W same as last time. I immediately put them on when they arrived. But this pair is not the same. Very narrow and my toe is rubbing on the end. I wish I would have checked them out better before tearing off tags and wearing them.
The shoe is still a great quality and value, but the sizes are off. Order at least a half size up, And WIDE is not wide at all.

SAD, SAD, SAD! THESE WERE MY FAVORITE. WHAT HAPPENED TO QUALITY CONTROL? THESE ARE SO TIGHT, (8W) AND POORLY MADE, FROM DAYS GONE BY. I HAVE ORDERED THEM FOR FRIENDS IN YEARS PAST AS GIFTS... AND THIS YEAR........POORLY MADE, ILL FITTING AND IT TOOK 20 DAYS FOR THEM TO GET HERE!

Great product at a great price. My wife gets a new pair every year. Why every year? Because they are so comfortable, she wears them out in the garden every morning. Yes, in the garden. She loves these things.

Wonderful slippers...Or I use them like a light weight shoe. I do wear them almost all day every day, summer thru winter, so this my 3rd pair in 10 years. I order 1/2 size larger as they run a tad small.
