Q: Will it fit scag tiger cat 2
8 months ago1 Answer
- A: The Ohio Steel Zero-Turn Snow Blade will likely fit the Scag Tiger Cat 2, provided there is enough space on the mower's caster wheel arms to attach the universal mounting brackets. The Ohio Steel blade uses a universal mounting system with clamp-on brackets designed to fit most mid-mount zero-turn mowers. The manufacturer's website and retail listings suggest that while the blade fits "most" ZTR mowers, it is not universally compatible with every single model.8 months agoHelpful?

Poor weld job and quality control
Quick delivery, however, I had to pick up the plow from the neighbor’s house as it was delivered/left on the wrong porch by UPS. After picking it up and moving it to my barn, I open it and find one of the parts with a bad weld job preventing it from fitting as it should and stopping assembly. Despite thi being a top result in my search for a ZT1 mower, the brackets do not fit on the frame. I would have to drill a whole in the frame in order to get all four bolts connected for a proper clamp onto the frame. The weld will need to be ground down in order for the pivot piece to fit into the mount. Im not sure what this will do to the weld strength. The clamps (parts 29 & 30) in step 3 could be put on the mower frame prior to step 2 making the process much easier (assuming the pieces in step 2 fit together as they should). Part 27 could be added with the cotter pin after the rest of the assembly is secured to the mower. Overall, I haven’t been able to complete the install, but not looking forward to the first use with the quality issues so far.
No, I do not recommend this product.
