Novox Caplet is an NSAID formulated to control joint pain and inflammation caused by osteoarthritis, arthritis, hip dysplasia or surgery. It's also an effective fever reducer. Novox is available by prescription only and comes in a caplet form to be administered to your dog orally.How it Works

Novox is a non-steroidal and non-narcotic anti-inflammatory containing analgesic (pain-relieving) properties and antipyretic (fever reducing) activity, relatively equipotent to indomethacin.

Special Precautions

  • Do not administer to pregnant or nursing animals or to cats.
  • Keep out of reach of children.
  • Do not administer to dogs who have shown prior hypersensitivity to carprofen.
  • Kidney and liver function tests should be performed periodically.
Overdose Information

In case of overdose, contact your closest emergency pet clinic.

Side Effects

Cyclooxygenase inhibiting NSAIDs could be correlated with renal and gastrointestinal toxicity.

Inhibition of the cyclooxygenase enzyme and decreased prostaglandin production, which form prostaglandins from arachidonic acid, may cause adverse reactions.

Storage

Store at room temperature 59°-86°F (15°-30°C ).

Tips

Novox also effectively reduces fever caused by bacterial or viral infections. It can be administered daily as a component of arthritis treatment and pain management routines.

This works very well. My dog has back problems and could not stand up. We were really concerned because he would not eat, got potty, walk, etc. Our holistic vet mentioned that it might be time to visit other alternatives and suggested this product. The first day we gave this to our dog, he was like a new dog. He was up walking around, going outside, acting like there was no problems. He was very happy. This stuff is wonderful and I highly recommend.
