Q: I'm looking for clearer description of what you mean by "trimming down a 2 x4". I don't wish to cement it into the ground as I might be moving these around as they are temporary privacy screens until my plantings around then are high enough. Details?

- A: Simply this: The posts for the Concord, especially with the bottom rail coming in, will house a 2X4 but only if that 2X4 is reduced in its width. If you secure the wood inside with enough of the proper screws, you may be able to move it after your plants are high enough.6 years agoHelpful?
Q: How does this trellis anchor to the ground if free standing and not attached to a walled structure?

- A: While the Concord comes with vinyl mounting extensions, if you are mounting it to stand free, I suggested trimming down some 2X4 wood sections and using concrete to secure them to the ground.6 years agoHelpful?
