Q: Specs say insulated. How thick is insulation? Is roof insulated as well? How easily does roof come off and on. Will it leak?
7 years ago- A: The insulation is provided on these models with a dead air space between the inner and outer walls. Testing indicates that this design provides twice the insulation value of a solid piece of wood 7/16" thick. All of the panels use the same design. The roof is very easy to remove. It is secured by a screw on either side. Remove the screws ( removed with thumb and forefinger) and slide one or more roof panels out of the rails holding them to clean. Since the ecoFLEX composite we use does not absorb anything and very little sticks to it, cleaning is as simple as rinsing with a hose. We have tested to a rate of 6" of rain per hour and have not experienced any leaks.7 years agoHelpful?
