The material the steel is being installed on and the variety of applications they can be used for prevents us from providing a weight rating, as there are too many variables that could impact the rating. Q: Is it ok to use on a Propane grill? Some sheet metal has zinc or another type of coating in it and it creates harmful fumes when it around heat. Just wanting to make sure this was ok for a grill.

Thinner than advertised

Beware. This is actually 24 gauge metal. Shrinkflation doesn’t work with this, Hillman.

Worked for patching rusting out Honda

Worked well in thickness for sheet metal patching og rusting out Honda unibody. Any thinner and it might have lost strength. Any thicker and it would have been more difficult to handle and bend to correct shape.
