Rated 5 out of 5 by from First time user I never used or even heard of these before. But now that I have an acre of land and am putting up fence and gates I have found these are great for strengthening a gate by adding cable to help keep the gate posts pulled together. I had to Lear the phrase “Don’t saddle the dead end@ to know how to properly use these with cable. Once I learned what that meant I was able to secure all to hold my gates to post tight.
