Q: Can MMR Fast Mold Removal be used on exterior Doug Fir siding that's already been finished with log oil ? I don't know if the black mildew/mold is under the finish or on top of the finish.

- A: We recommend you sample a small area (1”x1” or 3”x3” or 6”x6”) to see what the MMR will remove based on where the mold is located. Normally, MMR would remove a finish, but the best option here would be to find a test area.5 years agoHelpful?

This stuff is awesome!! Spray on and follow with a hose or pressure washer. It removes mold and a lot of stains so much better than anything else on the market, including bleach! Works on vinyl siding and wood decking. Brings wood back to original. Well worth the money. You won’t be sorry.

I was skeptical, but a trustworthy friend recommended MMR to me… this stuff is borderline miraculous. We had some pretty tough mold on the bottom side of our roof decking (OSB) and this chemical made it disappear within minutes of application (pump sprayer). Mold that has penetrated layers deep might survive, but I’m completely satisfied with my results. Waaay cheaper than hiring a mold remediation company!
Word of caution: wear a tyvek suit, a respirator, and protect your eyes and any exposed skin! This is a rugged chemical.
