This door lock installation kit is designed to help facilitate the installation of a lockset in a wood door. The plastic template fits doors that are either 1-3/8 in (34.93 mm) or 1-3/4 in (44.45 mm) thick and will accommodate a backset of 2-3/8 in (60.33 mm) or 2-3/4 in (69.85 mm). The plastic template ensures that the bi-metal hole saws (included) drill straight and true holes for both the lockset and latch for smooth operation. Ideal for installing or replacing door hardware, this kit helps create clean, accurately positioned holes for a professional-looking installation. It is a practical choice for DIYers, handymen, and contractors working on new doors or updating existing locksets. The included tools provide the essentials needed to make lock installation easier and more convenient.
