MIBRO 7/8 in. High-Speed Steel (HSS) Silver & Deming Drill Bits are designed for creating large-diameter holes in materials that require more cutting capacity than standard drill bits can provide. Ideal for general-purpose drilling in wood, plastics, and most ferrous and nonferrous metals - including mild steel, cast iron, sheet metal, aluminum, copper, and brass - these bits deliver dependable performance for workshop and fabrication projects. Their reduced shank allows larger diameter bits to fit into drill chucks with a 1/2 in. (12.7 mm) capacity, making them a practical solution for drilling oversized holes. The 135° split-point tip helps reduce walking and eliminates the need for a center punch on many applications for faster, more accurate starts. Three flats on the shank provide a secure grip in the drill chuck to help reduce slipping during use. For best results, use these drill bits in a drill press at speeds up to 400 RPM. Not recommended for drilling high-grade or stainless steel.

Q: The packaging says the drill bit is guaranteed replacement, do I return to your store or through manufacturer? If through manufacturer, how can I do that I don't see any thing on there website.

Terrible drill bit. Rounded edges on tip within minutes on a slow speed drill.

Garbage after 1

I ran the bit through basic carbon steel at 460rpms on a drill press. The first hole seemed to be fine. The second hole drilled about half way down and then started to squeek very badly. I backed out the bit, and under close inspection the sides of the bit had rounded and lost their edge. This is not a quality product.

No, I do not recommend this product.
