This Mibro 17-Piece High Speed Steel Drill Bit Set can be used to drill in wood, plastic and softer metals such as aluminum. Ideally suited for most projects around the house. This drill bit set is suitable for use on wood, wood composites, plastics and repetitive drilling in most metals - not recommended for hard metals such as stainless steel

  • 1/16 (x2), 5/64, 3/32, 7/64, 1/8 (x2), 9/64, 5/32, 11/64, 3/16, 13/64, 7/32, 15/64, 1/4, 5/16, 3/8 in.
  • This drill bit set is suitable for use on wood, wood composites, plastics and softer metals such as aluminum and copper
  • 135° split point tip on all drills 1/8 in. diameter and larger eliminates the need for a center punch and keeps the drill bit from walking
  • 3 flats on drill shanks larger than 3/16 in. insure that it is held tightly in the drill chuck

The larger bits seem to be okay so far. The smaller break pretty easily, including when I dropped one.

DRILL BITS SEEMINGLY USES INFERIOR METAL

AFTER DRILLING 6 - 8 HOLES IN METAL, REGARDLESS OF WHICH SIZE BIT, THE BIT BECAME SO DULL I COULDN'T DRILL INTO SOFT WOOD.

Great bit set.

These perform as well as the more expensive drill bits but at a fraction of the cost. I used these bits to drill through hard metal that had broken other bits by Ryobi. They handled quite a bit of torque also when getting stuck or in a bind and did not snap as the other bits would have snapped.

i bought these about 6 months ago and just decided to try them, any kind of real steal will destroy these drill bits.
