Special Precautions

• Injection site reactions may occur following extravasation at the injection site.
• Because methocarbamol can cause central nervous system depression and sedation, it can cause impaired coordination.
• Injectable methocarbamol contains polyethylene glycol. Therefore, it should typically not be used in animals who have decreased kidney function.

• Methocarbamol may have a sedative effect in addition to relaxing the muscles.
• Sensitive animals will vomit or salivate.
