I've been wearing them for a decade and they are a great shoe. When hiking with my dog I switched from their hiking boots to these. Not quite as good but not bad for light hiking. They look good for everyday wear and are comfortable. I've owned many pairs and continue to buy them.

Wierd look. Uncomfortable fit. Returned them. Odd look and fit.

The sole support and customer reviews sold me on these shoes, but standing on my feet all day these shoes really hurt my feet. I'm a dealer at a casino, I'm literally standing at one spot all day, and these shoes don't do it. It's funny, walking around they are fine, but straight up standing, NO.

I've owned Merrill slip on shoes for a very long time. This model is ok, but it is not for hiking. The upper is very stretchy and flexible with NO firm heal counter plus the lower is very flexible, almost slipper like. This light weight shoe is for very casual use. I've been using the Moab shoe and thought this one would be close to the same. They are not. My Moabs have a sturdy heal counter (see the image) that will not flex giving you great support for walking any terrain or on date night. The Moabs lower is also super firm for great support, think a real hiking shoe.
