Meloxicam Injectable Solution for Dogs and Cats is a prescription NSAID indicated for the management of pain, inflammation and arthritis. *Dogs:* Meloxicam 5 mg/mL injectable solution is indicated for the control of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis. *Cats:* It is indicated for the control of postoperative pain and inflammation associated with orthopedic surgery, ovariohysterectomy, and castration when administered prior to surgery. Supplied in 10 mL and 20 mL vials, this injectable formulation provides an effective option for controlling discomfort. FDA approved.

Special Precautions

Not for use in humans. Keep this and all medications out of reach of children. Consult a physician in case of accidental ingestion by humans. For IV or SQ injectable use in dogs. All dogs should undergo a thorough history and physical examination before administering any NSAID. Appropriate laboratory testing to establish hematological and serum biochemical baseline data is recommended prior to, and periodically during use of any NSAID in dogs.

Owner should be advised to observe their dogs for signs of potential drug toxicity. Dogs with known hypersensitivity to meloxicam should not receive Meloxicam Injection.

Store at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F); excursions permitted between 15° and 30°C (59° and 86°F) {see USP Controlled Room Temperature}.
