The Signature Lamp Post is defined by its classic panels and stylish craftmanship, that is sure to elevate your curb appeal immediately. One of our more popular lamp posts, the packaging includes a 6 foot decorative post (Light fixture and wiring materials not included). It is available in Black and White.

- A: Hello, this will fit over a 4x4 wood post but it must be a treated post- meaning that the true measurements of the post are closer to 3.5x3.5 in order for it to fit.a year agoHelpful?
Q: What does rotationally molded mean? Is only the holes at the top and bottom are 3” or is the entire length of the casing only 3 inches in diameter?

- A: Rotational molding is a manufacturing process where plastic pellets (in our case High Grade Polyethylene Resin) are placed into a hollow mold and then heated and rotated to evenly distribute and shape the molten resin to create a hollow plastic product with consistent thickness and durability. For our decorative lamp post sleeves, after demolding and cooling a 3" diameter guide hole is drilled in the center of the top and bottom of the sleeve but the rest of the interior of the post sleeve is completely hollow.2 years agoHelpful?
Q: Is the Mayne Signature Lamp Post, Black a shell or casing that slides over an existing post? If yes, what are the dimensions of the opening for the post?

- A: Yes, our Lamp post sleeve is rotationally molded as one piece and is entirely hollow on the interior with a 3" diameter hole cut in the top and bottom of the sleeve. This allows it to slide over an existing standard 3" diameter steel lamp post. This is best intended to "dress up" existing lamp post installations. For new installs we recommend purchasing our "Lamp Post WITH mount" which includes an 89" steel post that can be used for installation.2 years agoHelpful?

Part of our outdoor renovation. Neighbors compliment all the time. It really looks sophisticated and draws the eye, Definitely added a pop to our front yard.
