Dont buy, the chain it calls for dont fit, and when u do get it to work, it works for about 30 seconds and explodes, luckily my son didnt get hurt. Also u might as well find a spacer for it as well it floats on the shaft, the brass bushing, melts under pressure. Stay away from it amd order a good one else where.

It has to be really accelerated hard to a high rpm to get the go cart moving. But once it has started moving it takes ahold pretty good. All in all nice product.

The clutch is painted black and is oiled during assembly, probably to keep it from rusting before purchase. IT WILL SMOKE LIKE A MOSQUITO FOGGER for the first several minutes of use. After it has been broken it, it works like a beast. So far, very happy with purchase. Oh, I forgot to mention, it will slip at first too. No worries, just run it and get it hot and break it in! Also, you many need spacers or large washers to get it lined up on the output shaft. Put a bolt with proper sized washer in end of crankshaft and it will stay in place. No silly set screws to deal with. Nevermind the negative reviews!
