MasterCool MasterStat Thermostat is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Thermostat - Would buy again! I bought this thermostat for my swamp cooler and would buy it again. It was necessary to run 3 conductor thermostat wire from my hall to the roof. In my situation, routing was a little difficult but doable. I mounted the controller box on my cooler and wired it per the manual with no issues. I set the temperature to 74F. When the house hits 75, the cooler is switched on. At 72 it switches off. So it hold the house between 73 and 74. I have tried other swamp cooler thermostats which switched power within the thermostat mounted on the wall; however, they don't work well because they tend to self heat after a year or two (dirty contacts). Then they don't track the temperature well. Since this thermostat controller is remote, that can't happen. I like this design much better.
