Ferrets of all ages should have food and fresh water available at all times. For very young ferrets (6-11 weeks) you may need to moisten their diet. Mix three parts fresh warm water to one part Marshal Diet (3:1 ratio). Allow this mixture to settle for 3-5 minutes. Add more water or more food until there is a soft oatmeal consistency. Leave some dry food out so they can adjust to it over time. Serve dry food to adult ferrets.
