The TelosXL temporarily attaches to J-style carrier (DownLoader) and V-style carrier (SeaWing). This lift assist provides a safe way to vertically raise the kayak into a position where it can easily be loaded into the carriers. You can detach the Telos XL and use it on the other side of the vehicle to load your second kayak, or, store it in the trunk for unloading later. The new ground level adjustable extensions avoid contact with the vehicle's sheet metal. There is simply no other load assist on the market with this versatility or value. Comes with assembly tools, instructions and a Lifetime Limited Warranty.

Q: Does this rack work with a 2018 Expedition?
9 months ago- A: Good afternoon Linda, Thank you for reaching out to us regarding our TelosXL Load Assist (MPG351XL); our TelosXL Load Assist is compatible with both our DownLoader (MPG114MD) & SeaWing (MPG107MD) Kayak Carriers. The DownLoader & SeaWing Kayak Carriers are compatible with Crossbars that are up to 3.5" (wide) x 1.25" (tall). As long as the Crossbars on your 2018 Expedition are no wider than 3.5", and no taller than 1.25", our DownLoader or SeaWing Kayak Carrier would be compatible with those Crossbars. If you own a Kayak Carrier that is not the DownLoader or SeaWing, you could make that Kayak Carrier compatible with the TelosXL using our Universal Roof Rack Adapter for Telos™ XL (MPG368). Per the vendor, "If the customer owns a Kayak Carrier that is not our DownLoader (MPG114MD) or SeaWing (MPG107MD), and they would like to use our TelosXL Load Assist (MPG351XL), they would just need to purchase the Universal Roof Rack Adapter for TelosXL (MPG368)."9 months agoHelpful?
